Welcome to Second Grade!

This year we're reading on the "beach"! We have cozy beach chairs and a couch for lounging. Our room has several work spaces to make everyone feel comfortable. We will be working hard and growing in every aspect of our learning: academically, socially, and emotionally. My favorite part of my day is when my students "get it"; their faces truly light up! Second grade is pretty awesome like that!

 

I graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Elementary Education. I began teaching at MES in August 2014.  I am a married mother of four who loves to visit the beach and play with my two dogs.
