Mrs Smith

I am a 3rd grade teacher at MES.  My classroom is designed so students are collaborating with each other.  We do a lot of group work and learning games.  I want my students to learn more than Reading and Math, like cooperation and getting along with others.

 

This is my 24th year at MES.  I have taught preschool, 1st grade, and now 3rd grade.  I am married and my "kids" have 4 legs (dogs).  I love watching sports and reading.

 

My favorite thing about working at MES are the students.  I enjoy their curiosity, willingness to learn, and yes, even their challenges.  The staff at MES are wonderful; always doing what is best for the kiddos!
